For our second set with Dani, I went with a dual-light setup. Since it was dark outside, we couldn’t rely on natural light from the windows, so I opted for a cross-light look.
I placed one light outside the window with a round softbox, set to a daylight color temperature of around 5600K. To create contrast, I positioned a second light on the back left, set to a warm tungsten tone (around 3200K or possibly warmer—I didn’t write down my exact settings!).
The result was a warm light coming from the left and a cooler light from the right, creating a subtle moonlit effect. It may have been a bit too bright to fully mimic moonlight, but overall, I’m really happy with how it turned out!
