In the summer, Lexy and I spend a lot of time in the boat. Up here in Canada, we have to enjoy the warm weather while we have it. On one particularly calm day, I brought my camera out and we shot this in the midday sun. I wouldn’t normally shoot in such harsh sun conditions, but I bought a new camera recently, a Blackmagic URSA Cine LF, and the dynamic range is just incredible. I think it transformed the harsh midday sun into a beautiful scene. The vintage Soviet Mir lens also helps give that soft, dreamy look with amazing light flares. Enjoy!
