It’s always nice to shoot in your own studio space, but I also love visiting other people’s spaces to shoot them in their own environment. In this shoot, I visited Rylee Nova, whom we’ve shot a few times before, and photographed her in her own home. One of my favorite things to do is to play with the light in a new space to transform it into something they may not be used to seeing. Because we didn’t have any direct sun (thanks, winter), and no actual blinds, I artificially created the blind light using some fancy lighting techniques. If anybody is interested in a lighting breakdown to create this look, leave a comment! I’ve left the safer shots public in this post for all to see, but if you want to see the whole set, including the spicier shots, then you’ll have to sign in as a member.
